All three levels of the REALTOR® organization—local, state, and national—exist to help you succeed as a real estate professional.

When you become a REALTOR®, you join the local, state, and national Associations. Dues are listed below to outline each organization's portion of the total dues.

REALTOR® Dues - $584 Annual (Jan - Dec)

 Designated REALTOR® (DR) Dues - $601 Annual (Jan - Dec)

$173 - CFR local REALTOR® dues

 $190 - CFR local DR dues
$210 - NCR state dues

$210 - NCR state dues 
$201 - NAR national dues

Timetables & Deadlines for 2026 Annual Dues

  • October 31, 2025 - Annual dues invoice emailed.
  • November 24, 2025 - CFR runs the auto draft.
  • December 31, 2025 - Annual dues are due.
  • January 1, 2026 - $100 late fee is applied.
  • February 1, 2026 - Automatic termination of delinquent accounts. (Member status change, unpaid members will become non-member licensees, and all dues and future billing will be billed to the DR.)

If you do not plan to renew for 2026, notify the front desk before Monday, November 24, 2025, to ensure your credit card is not on auto-pay.

If you would like to discontinue your membership with CFR, the following needs to be completed:

  • All current/past due account charges must be reconciled.
  • A copy of the NCREC Letter of Disassociation (Form 2.13) that your BIC has signed must be completed and attached to the resignation form below.
  • Complete the resignation form below.

FAQs

Can I make split payments online for the NCR and NAR Annual DUEs?

Split payments for CFR, NCR, or NAR dues cannot be made.

What if I am planning to resign and i am on auto-pay?

If you do not plan to renew for 2026, notify the  frontdesk@capefear.realtor before November 24 with the following: Please remove my credit card from DUES autopay.  I understand I will be responsible for all fees, late fees, and possible suspension due to this change.

I am on autopay; When will my credit card be charged?

REALTOR® Members will be charged $584 (CFR, NCR, and NAR 2026 dues) on November 24, 2025.

Designated REALTOR® Members will be charged $601 (CFR, NCR, and NAR 2026 dues) on November 24, 2025.

My credit card was drafted, and I am resigning. how can I get a refund?

Once paid, dues are unable to be refunded at the local, state, or national levels.  

What is this RPAC fee on my account?

RPAC is the REALTOR® Political Action Committee. See what RPAC does for you.

How do I remove the RPAC investment from my account?

NAR requires all local associations to add an optional RPAC contribution of $30 annually. Before you ask to have this removed, learn what RPAC does for you.

Are New members prorated?

Amounts vary depending on your membership type. These prices are pro-rated by month; i.e., January is the full-year amount, and December is the last month's amount.  View all Dues and Fees.
