Habitat 2021

We've been working hard with Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity to build and fund a home for a very deserving local family.  To make this dream a reality, we ask our members for help with volunteering at the build site and pledging donations for building materials.  See full photo album.

Feed ILM

A continuous effort to collect food for those who experience food insecurity in our community through canned donation at all non-CE events, including a crescendo event at Christmas time. Over 20 Cape Fear REALTORS® members, staff, and partners unloaded 8,000 pounds of non-perishable food last year at Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard. The event was the culmination of the annual, year-long Feed ILM campaign during which REALTORS® collected money and food donations to benefit the local food pantry.

WARM Work Days

Cape Fear REALTOR® members partnered with WARM on October 14th and November 18th (Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry) to make several homes safer for homeowners in need, one of whom didn't have running water for 10 years. Together, we landscaped, installed appliances, painted siding, caulked windows, and rebuilt an outdoor staircase and landing, and more.

Willowdale Urban Farm

As REALTORS® we are invested in making our communities safe, sustainable, and long-lasting. The Willowdale Urban Farm will provide sanctuary to neighbors, gardens and produce to local food deserts, and education to our youngest leaders in primary school.

REALTOR® Action Day

Every year, REALTORS® take part in a successful regional day of community service across the Wilmington area.  A one-day event mobilizing the entire membership to community affairs activities for a dramatic impact and to build esprit de corps.

Pender County

Established in 1875. Natural beauty and a temperate climate are two of Pender County’s greatest assets. Thick woodlands are filled with lofty pines and ancient hardwoods. Wildflowers grow along the roadsides while cultivated plant life seems to thrive in private lawns and gardens. Warm weather begins in early spring and usually continues through November, which means that the county enjoys a long growing season, and that residents as well as vacationers can participate in outdoor activities almost year round.
