Rescheduling Policy

If you are unable to attend the class for which you are registered, Cape Fear REALTORS® (CFR) will transfer your tuition to another class within the same CE year:

• If notice is given at least 48 hours prior to the class beginning, no rescheduling fee applies.
• If notice is given less than 48 hours prior to the class beginning, you will be charged a $10 rescheduling fee.
• Tuition is not refundable.

“No Shows” or “Late Arrivals” Policy

(See NCREC Rule .0510)

• If you are registered for one of our CE courses and you do not attend or arrive later than twenty-four minutes after the start of the course, your tuition will be forfeited. NCREC rules do not permit brokers who miss more than 10% of the time allowed for the course to be admitted. (4 hours = 240 minutes x 10% = 24 minutes) 
  HINT: ALWAYS CALL to avoid forfeiture.
• If you attend but miss more than 24 minutes of the course, your tuition is forfeited and you will not receive credit for the course.
• Missing the final portion of any course is prohibited unless the circumstances are beyond your control and your instructor has approved your absence.

Cancellation/Rescheduling

• If CFR must cancel a class, CFR will gladly refund your money or you will be allowed to reschedule it within the appropriate licensing period.
• If a class is rescheduled to a new date or time and/or moved to a different location, you will be notified via email and/or by phone.

• If you cancel timely, you may only attend the next scheduled class at no cost if the class is within the same CE period.

Designation and Certification Courses

• CFR will gladly reschedule your class only when you cancel at least 5 business days prior to the class beginning.
• If CFR must cancel a class, CFR will gladly refund your money or you will be allowed to reschedule it.
• If a class is rescheduled to a new date or time and/or moved to a different location, you will be notified via email and/or by phone.
• When applicable, NCREC rules do not allow CFR to accept late arrivals. We thank you for understanding.
