Davis will lead the association’s advocacy efforts to promote policies that protect property rights, support housing affordability, and encourage sustainable community development across southeastern North Carolina. As part of this role, Davis is excited to connect with legislators, regulatory bodies, and industry leaders to ensure the real estate community has a powerful voice in shaping public policy.

Davis holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, an MBA, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. He brings a wealth of experience across public service, government policy, and strategic leadership. From 2022 to 2025, he served as a Policy Advisor in the first term for Mayor Tim Kelly of the City of Chattanooga, where he played a central role in addressing the homelessness crisis, promoting affordable housing, and securing Chattanooga’s selection as a Bloomberg American Sustainable City. He also worked as a Policy Advisor for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and as Deputy Director of Outreach for the Colorado Governor’s Joint Vaccine Task Force, managing public engagement efforts during Colorado’s COVID-19 response. Earlier in his career, Davis served as a Program Analyst for the Department of Defense from 2018 to 2019, where he provided critical analysis and strategic recommendations for defense-related initiatives.
A 20-year retired U.S. military veteran, Davis served 10 years on active duty as an Infantryman and Special Operations Combat Medic, and another 10 years in the Army National Guard. He played a key role in numerous state and national declared emergencies, demonstrating leadership and resilience in high-stakes situations. His last assignment was Senior Operations Planner at the State Joint Operations Center, TN Joint Force Headquarters. His military honors include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Purple Heart, and Army Commendation for Valor. He has also been designated a “Governor’s Twenty” marksman in both the Colorado and Tennessee Army National Guards.
